Oriana Haselwanter

I am the communications strategist and deputy project co-ordinator of the DESMA project and responsible for the facilitation of the internal and external communication of DESMA. I am working on developing a common language to communicate design research, am co-creating the international design research platform, am engaged  with branding and communication issues and am strategically organising the different touchpoits of the DESMA project.

I am an educated and experienced visual communicator, I took my BA (Hons) degree at the Glasgow School of Art and my MA degree in Business & Design at the School of Design and Crafts Gothenburg.

I have been working as a graphic designer at Swarovski in Austria and have always been interested in the visual but also the strategic part of design. For my master thesis  “Toward curated business development, using art and design”, I have been researching how bigger companies in Sweden work with design thinking respectively artistic interventions. Furthermore I have a strong interest in strategic / organisational design and design research and have been publishing reserach papers at DMI.
