Lucia Chrometzka

I joined Future Concept Lab in 1999 and eversince I am responsible for research projects regarding design innovation, investigating the relationship between material culture and consumer trends, developing product, services, communication and retail scenarios for international clients.

I am in charge of the Institute’s international observatory of consumption (coolhunters network) and the training lab. I regularly lecture in postgraduate courses at Milan Polytechnic and I hold seminars for working professionals in many European universities on the subject of business design and design thinking. Since 2004 I have been a Master thesis mentor in Domus Academy. I write design articles and am the co-author of the books: Body Visions (2004), Living Trends (2005), Real Fashion Trends, the coolhunter guide (2007) and Consum-Authors (2008). Frequent speaker and moderator in international meetings, in 2009 I co-chaired the first DMI European conference, at Triennale di Milano, Milan.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design (Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication validated by Royal College of Art, London) and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Vision (Domus Academy, Milan).
