I am Director of MindLab, a cross-governmental innovation lab within the Danish government. I have also headed the public organization practice of Ramboll Management, a consultancy. Additionally, I am a university lecturer, a frequent speaker, and the author of four books on leadership, innovation and design, most recently Leading Public Sector Innovation: Co-creating for a Better Society.
I hold an M.Sc. in political science from Aarhus University, executive education from Harvard Business School and the Wharton School, and I am a doctoral fellow at Copenhagen Business School. I am writing my doctoral thesis (part-time) on how public managers lead and experience design-led innovation processes. More here.
Starting November 1st, 2014, I will be Chief Executive of the Danish Design Centre (DDC), which works to strengthen the value of design for business and society.
